Job summary

Rapier Employment Limited is recruiting for a busy distribution centre in the UK for Warehouse Operatives. Candidates with VNA or Reach Truck experience are preferred, but those without MHE experience who are eager to learn are welcome. Roles include 4-on/4-off days or nights, permanent night shifts, and rotating shifts.

Training on VNA/Reach equipment is provided as the role develops. Pay rates include £12.71 per hour for Warehouse Operatives and £13.13 per hour for qualified MHE Operators,

Job description

We are recruiting for a busy distribution centre, offering temp-to-perm opportunities for Warehouse Operatives.

We are particularly interested in candidates with VNA or Reach Truck experience. However, applicants without MHE experience are also welcome, provided they are willing to learn and develop new skills.

Available Shift Patterns

4 on / 4 off – Days

06:00–18:00

4 on / 4 off – Nights

18:00–06:00

Monday to Friday – Permanent Nights

22:00–06:00

Monday to Friday – Rotating Shifts

06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00

Pay Rates

• Warehouse Operative: £12.71 per hour
• MHE Operator (VNA / Reach): £13.13 per hour – when qualified.
• Additional hourly night shift bonus for eligible night shifts
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the applicable hourly rate

Warehouse Operatives

• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Willingness to learn case picking and general warehouse duties.
• Must be willing to train on VNA or Reach Truck equipment in the future.
• Reliable, motivated and keen to develop new skills.

All candidates must be willing to become multi-skilled. Experienced MHE Operators will also be required to learn case picking, while unskilled candidates must be willing to train on VNA or Reach equipment in the future.
