About The Role

At GSF Car Parts, our Warehouse Operatives play a vital role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for delivery. They champion customer service by efficiently coordinating warehouse stock and understanding delivery timeframes. As a Warehouse Operative on a zero-hour/casual contract, you will support the branch in covering holidays or absences.

Main Duties include:

• Checking and storing supplier-delivered parts
• Picking and loading vans accurately and promptly
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty, or surcharge
• Verifying stock quantities against the computer system and ensuring proper storage in allocated bins

Working hours: Up to (average) hours Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturday work depending on branch coverage.

About You

What you'll need to succeed:

• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or similar environment
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good team player
• Efficient work ethic with attention to detail
• Understanding of customer service and deadlines
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry (desirable)
