Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling of goods. This position requires someone who is a team worker with an up-to-date FLT Counterbalance licence.

Duties

1. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling and proper placement.
2. Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure compliance with company standards.
3. Handle materials with care, ensuring they are stored correctly and efficiently within the warehouse, including regular stock rotation.
4. Use handheld scanners to book stock in and out.
5. Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
6. Assist with stock takes and other warehouse duties as requested.

Skills

1. Proficiency in loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently.
2. Experience with materials handling and knowledge of warehouse operations.
3. Forklift counterbalance certification is essential.
4. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.

In return, you can expect a basic salary of £26,500 plus bonus and an extensive range of benefits. The role is Monday - Friday with a 2 pm finish on a Friday.
