A hiring agency is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative for a client based in Immingham. This role starts as temporary but may become permanent for the right candidate. Duties include loading/unloading lorries and conducting inspections. Candidates should hold an FLT Licence and have experience in a warehousing environment.

  • Experience working in a site/warehousing environment.

  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out to standard and on schedule.
  • Conduct daily inspections at the start and end of shifts.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies across the site.

Job description

Manpower is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative for our established client based in Immingham, with an immediate start following a successful interview.


This role begins as a temporary position but may lead to a more permanent role after a period of time for the right candidate.

Location: Immingham

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Skills:

  • Holds an in-date FLT Licence; REACH licence is advantageous.
  • Experience working in a site/warehousing environment.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently, with duties including loading/unloading lorries, picking orders, and other tasks as required.
  • Willing to perform some labouring duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out to standard and on schedule.
  • Conduct daily inspections at the start and end of shifts, reporting and troubleshooting equipment issues (e.g., Forklift).
  • Complete all documentation accurately.
  • Work collaboratively and independently to maximize output.
  • Flexibility to assist across different tasks and teams as needed.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies across the site.
