Position: Warehouse Operative W/Reach Forklift

Salary: £28,083

Location: Thame

Shift: 2.30pm to 11.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00am to 4.00pm on Fridays

Proactive are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in Thame.

Job Purpose:

Assist the Team Leader / Warehouse Manager in daily store operations, maintaining store areas, and supporting booking in, allocation, and dispatch of goods. Requires Reach truck, Side truck loader, and Counterbalance forklift licences up to 10 ton, and good PC skills.

Job Context:

Work within a UK Logistics team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time, maintaining compliance and engaging across business sectors. Continuous Personal Development is supported.

Key Accountabilities:

• Goods Inwards: Receive stock safely and accurately, manage damages, control purchase orders, and handle CSI items.
• Dispatch: Manage daily dispatch activities, ensure paperwork accuracy, coordinate transport, and oversee inter-company shipping.
• Items Storage and Distribution: Log and process stock, ensure correct marking and location, and communicate discrepancies.
• Cycle Counting: Conduct stock checks, investigate discrepancies, and update records.
• Daily Tasks: Serve as first point for queries, assist in workload management, identify training needs, and communicate with production teams. Deputise for the Assistant Warehouse Manager when needed.

• Reach Forklift Licence
• Good communication and IT skills
