Warehouse Operative (Temp to Perm) - Market Harborough

We are seeking a dedicated General Warehouse Operative to ensure the smooth operation of our warehouse in Market Harborough. This long-term temporary to permanent position offers a starting salary of £11.00 - £11.44, reviewed after 3 months. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

1. Receiving and Inspection: Receive shipments, verify accuracy, inspect for damages, and report discrepancies.
2. Storage and Organisation: Store goods safely, maintain an organised warehouse, and ensure proper labelling and documentation.
3. Order Picking and Packing: Pick and pack items accurately according to orders, prepare for shipment with proper packaging and labelling.
4. Operational Support: Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
5. Quality Control: Participate in quality checks and report issues.
6. Health and Safety: Follow safety protocols, use PPE, and maintain a safe working environment.
7. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, report issues promptly.
