Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Leicester is seeking a part-time Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor) to work on the prison wing at HM Prison Leicester. The role involves distributing orders to inmates, loading and unloading vehicles, and complying with prison rules and security procedures.

This permanent role offers 5 hours per week on Fridays (12:30–17:30) with a salary of £3,611.40 per year. Enhanced security clearance is required for the position and applicants must be able to work in a prison

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a prison environment, alongside in-mates.
• The ability to work in a role that requires manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Good communication at all levels.
• Current 3 years of UK address history (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance).

Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)

Shift pattern: 5 hours per week - Friday,12:30 to 17:30

Salary: £3,611.40 per year

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a Prison. You will be required to under-go an Enhanced Security Vetting Process if you are to be successful for this position.

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the prisoner's lives, working with a diverse team to support their rehabilitation.
