Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our West Sussex Community Equipment Service Centre in Littlehampton. You will join a driven team handling stock, picking, packing and loading equipment for installers, and maintaining accurate records using our stock system.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable, however full training will be provided.
• Computer literate – previous experience of using stock management systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with the team and external suppliers.
• Hard working, driven and motivated.
• Full UK driving licence is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Stock management including labeling and logging of equipment.
• Picking, packing and loading equipment to assist with the installers.
• Logging special orders and communicating receipts to the customer services team.
• Updating of order and stock systems with use of scanner.
• Quarantine, sterilise and re-pack equipment and ensure paperwork is documented, logged and filed.
• Decontamination of community equipment.
• Day to day efficient running of the warehouse and decon areas.
• Maintenance and housekeeping of the service centre, including in some cases repairs of equipment including PAT testing.
• You will be required to participate in an ad-hoc weekend rota.
• You may be required to assist the field-based Installation Technicians on occasion.
