Job summary

SIG plc in Plymouth is looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our branch team. You will handle receiving, storage, picking, and loading of stock, ensuring accuracy and safety in every shift.

Qualifications

• Forklift Licence is desirable.
• Good data accuracy and numeracy.
• Basic IT skills and strong health and safety knowledge.
• Experience in warehouse or yard roles is advantageous.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with deliveries, unloading and loading vehicles.
• Receive and store goods in correct locations in the warehouse/yard.
• Prepare customer orders and load onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries and report stock breakages.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Carry out daily checks and maintain equipment in safe condition.
• Promote a safety culture and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.
