SIG Insulation & Drylining is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our UK branch and help with receiving, storing, picking and loading stock while ensuring accuracy and safety in a busy warehouse environment.

You will work as part of a supportive team, follow health and safety procedures, and contribute to efficient operations. The role offers training opportunities and a stable career path within a leading insulation and dry-lining supplier.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is desirable.
• Good data accuracy, numeracy and basic IT skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Warehouse or yard experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with deliveries in unloading and loading of vehicles at the branch
• Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard.
• Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries, report stock breakages, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Carry out daily checks and maintain forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition.
• Promote a safe culture by ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues.
• Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.
