About the role
We are seeking rotating shifts warehouse operatives for a permanent position with a 16-week probation period.
Work 40 hours per week with overtime opportunities in line with the Working Time Directive.
In-house training will be provided to develop necessary skills.
The pay includes the current hourly basic rate plus shift premiums:
- 18.00 - 23.59 hours: 15%
- 00.00 - 05.59 hours: 25%
- Saturday and Sunday: 20%
Hours between 06.00 and 17.59 are considered day shifts with no premium. Shift premiums are not paid on overtime hours.
Site Incentive Scheme
Participation in a performance-related site incentive scheme.
Rotating shift pattern:
- Week 1: Monday to Friday, 14.00 - 22.00
- Week 2: Monday to Friday, 06.00 - 14.00
- Week 3: Sunday to Thursday, 14.00 - 22.00
- Week 4: Sunday to Thursday, 06.00 - 14.00
You will be responsible for
- Receiving, picking, and loading goods safely according to work instructions
- Operating manual and mechanical handling equipment safely
- Performing daily equipment checks and reporting faults
- Reporting hazards or irregularities immediately
- Assisting with stock counts and documentation
- Handling damaged stock and participating in training as required
- Performing any other duties necessary for business needs
You will need
- Numeracy and literacy skills
- Warehouse experience preferred
- Careful handling of goods and adherence to safety regulations
- Flexibility and versatility
- Ability to produce quality work
- Successful completion of a drug and alcohol test prior to employment
