We have a great opportunity for a Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver to join our established team in our new branch on Trafford Park, Manchester. This is a varied role whereby on a Monday/ Tuesday you will be responsible for making deliveries ensuring the vehicle is correctly loaded and secured. From Wednesday onwards, you will efficiently receive, store, handle, check, and dispatch goods.

Within this role you will maintain storage areas, assemble and pack goods for customers, as well as load and unload delivery vehicles, carefully checking goods supplied against paperwork. You will adopt safe manual handling, lifting and carrying goods (up to 25kg) and making use of the forklift trucks, both Reach and Counterbalance.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role and will have interfaced with customers on a regular basis. A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable and it would be advantageous for you to have previously operated a forklift, reach, and counterbalance.

We are welcoming applications from self-motivated team players with the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure. You will have manual handling experience, ideally have knowledge of building / trade products and due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full, clean UK driving licence with good knowledge of the local and surrounding area for deliveries.
