Overview

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives who are Reach Truck Trained.

Working in our distribution centres means fast-paced environments, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to think quickly and work as part of a team to ensure orders are picked accurately and on time with seamless delivery to our customers.

You MUST be Reach Truck Trained and hold a D2 licence.

Shift patterns

• Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10pm (5 days x 8 hours)
• Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday, 12pm to 10pm (4 days x 10 hours)

Pre-employment

Prior to employment, you must successfully complete a drug and alcohol test

Responsibilities

• Reach Truck Driving
• Picking and packing customer orders, using a handheld terminal to understand pick expectation
• Receiving, storing and stacking appropriately
• Working with the best integrity to fulfil all stock requirements and needs
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment with health, safety, and legal requirements always top of mind
• There are LLOP’s and FLT’s in operation on our sites, and successful individuals will be given the opportunity to be trained on these in certain areas of the DCs
• Distribution centres typically have ambient, chilled and freezer sections; preferences will be discussed within the process in more detail
• As a reach truck driver, being flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment is essential

Qualifications & requirements

• You should be hardworking, able to work to set deadlines, and have a professional, positive, organised, and enthusiastic approach
• While proven experience in a warehouse environment would be preferred, it is not essential, although a D2 licence is essential
• You should be able to work as part of a team and on your own initiative; remember, the key to success is being self-motivated
