Aligra currently seeks an experienced warehouse operative in Newbury with valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance certificates. The role is Monday to Friday, offering a stable, safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth and a competitive package.

You will pick/pack orders, handle stock movements, and ensure accurate stock control while operating forklifts and maintaining high standards of safety. A strong team player mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Recent warehouse experience in a similar role.
• Essential: Reach Truck and Counterbalance certificates.
• Desirable: PPT certificate.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch.
• Receive and issue goods with stock records.
• Label stock to meet compliance and standards.
• Manage stock movement and replenishment efficiently.
• Conduct regular stocktakes and inspect for damaged items.
• Safely operate forklifts and lifting equipment.
• Report issues to management.
• Assist with other ad hoc warehouse duties as required.

Pay & Shifts:

• £30,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday
• 08:30am to 17:00pm

What You’ll Do:

• Pick and pack sales orders accurately for dispatch.

• Label stock correctly to meet compliance and customer standards.
• Manage stock movement and replenishment efficiently.

What We’re Looking For:

• Recent warehouse experience in a similar role.
• Essential: Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck Forklift Certificates.
• Desirable: Valid Pedestrian Pallet Truck (PPT) certificate.
• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
