Job description

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Appleton, Warrington.

We offer various permanent full-time and part-time positions:

1. Full-time afternoons: 12:00 to 20:00, 5 days from 7 (including at least one weekend day).
2. Full-time nights: 20:00 to 04:00, 5 days from 7 (including at least one weekend day).
3. Part-time weekends: afternoons from 20:00 to 04:00 or nights 22:00 to 04:00, on Saturday and Sunday.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

Hourly pay rate of £14.28 (£11.88 if under 21). Permanent positions with opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets for delivery

• General maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse
• Adhere to health and safety requirements

Most start with order picking, with potential for roles in goods in and loading operations.

Requirements:

• Physical fitness due to the demanding nature of the role
• Friendly, positive, and hardworking attitude
• Experience in warehouse environment or manual handling equipment is a plus but not essential
