Job summary

Farmfoods is recruiting warehouse operatives for our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. The role offers 37.5 hours per week across 5 days, with a mix of late and night shifts and at least one weekend day.

Pay is £14.85 per hour, with overtime regular and benefits including 30 days annual leave and a 15% staff discount. You will pick stock, keep records, and help with warehouse maintenance while adhering to health and safety rules.

Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address: Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.
• Positions starting in August and September.

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Shift patterns include:

• Late shift - From 14:00 to 22:00
• Night shift - From 22:00 to 06:00

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21).

You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours work per week for full time positions and if you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

As one of our warehouse operatives you will:

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.

• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.

You will need:

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
