Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our client in Appleton Warrington. The role is permanent from day one with immediate start available and standard Monday–Friday shifts. Location: Warrington WA4. Salary £12.83 per hour (£26,686.40 per annum).

Key duties include stock picking to dispatch deadlines, replenishing stock, offloading deliveries and maintaining stock accuracy, plus contributing to waste reduction and efficient loading for delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
• Good time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Develops effective and supportive relationships with colleagues.
• Physically fit to carry / pack loads for delivery.
• Good level of IT literacy.
• Positive, 'can do' and 'gets it done' attitude.
• Self-motivated and takes pride at the task in hand.
• FLT license would be advantageous although training would be provided for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Pick stock as prioritised in line with dispatch deadlines ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• Replenish stock in the aisles to ensure continued picking efficiencies.
• Offloading deliveries and locating in the Warehouse ensuring a high level of stock accuracy.
• Checking and signing for deliveries in line with supplier documentation.
• Highlighting any stock queries and shortages and updating the warehouse log with stock movements.
• To support in the identification and elimination of waste in all its forms, including loading waste in the appropriate skip ready for disposal.
• Assist in loading stock in a controlled and efficient manner ready for customer delivery.

Location: Warrington WA4

Salary: £12.83 per hour ( £26,686.40 per annum)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00 & 07:30-15:30 rotating weekly
