Job summary

JDR Recruitment are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Widnes on a temporary to permanent basis.

This position will become permanent after completion of 12 weeks. The role includes picking and preparing stock, booking in stock from suppliers, stock counting, stock rotation, and dispatch of goods via couriers.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift licence or equivalent.
• Experience with stock rotation and replenishment.
• Familiarity with Business Central or similar ERP system.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience handling Goods In/Out processes.
• Good understanding of health and safety in a warehouse.
• Experience of picking tickets and dispatch notes.
• Experience with stock counting.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare stock for delivery.
• Book in stock from Suppliers.
• Carry out stock counting and stock rotation.
• Dispatch goods via DPD and other couriers.
• Maintain bin locations and stock replenishment.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.

JDR Recruitment are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our client in Widnes on a temporary to permanent basis.

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm Location: Widnes WA8 Job Role: Warehouse Operative. The Role:

• Pick and prepare stock for delivery.

• Book in stock from Suppliers
• Stock counting
• Stock rotation
• Dispatch of goods via DPD and other couriers
• Bin location maintenance and stock replenishment.
• Work as part of a team within all aspects of the business.
• Organise Stock and keep the warehouse in a clean, tidy ,and workable condition.

Experience / Skills:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence

• Experience of Stock rotation and stock replenishment.
• Knowledge of Business Central or other IT system.
• Ability to work unattended.
• Experience of Goods in & Goods out.
• Understanding of health & Safety within a Warehouse
• Experience of picking tickets and dispatch notes.
• Experience of stock counting
