Join Zendbox as a Part-Time Warehouse Operative!

Are you looking for a flexible part-time position that allows you to balance work with other commitments? Zendbox is seeking enthusiastic Part-Time Warehouse Operatives to become valuable members of our team. In this role, you will support our warehousing operations, ensuring that our commitment to exceptional eCommerce fulfilment is upheld.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the picking, packing, and dispatching of customer orders using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Receive and verify incoming stock, ensuring all items are accurately recorded.
  • Efficiently load and unload deliveries, following safe manual handling protocols.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your designated work areas.
  • Participate in regular stock checks and assist in inventory audits.
  • Quickly report any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns to your supervisor.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) while contributing to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work toward achieving individual and team performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and Quality Assurance standards.

Your contribution will play a crucial role in our mission to deliver outstanding service and efficiency to our clients.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with technology, including barcode scanners and inventory management systems.
  • Adequate physical fitness to handle the lifting and moving of packages safely.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
  • Willingness to work on flexible schedules that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to operational procedures.

Preferred Skills

  • Holding a Forklift Truck (FLT) or Reach Truck certification is beneficial but not essential.
