Job summary

ctrg is hiring a part-time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam Ilkeston (DE7 6HE). You will pick and pack, sort with a handheld scanner, unload/load containers, and wrap pallets while upholding strict health and safety standards. Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for you to work with our client as a part time Warehouse Operative in West Hallam Ilkeston, DE7 6HE.

Your pay rate as a part time Warehouse Operative:

You will be paid between £12.71 and £13.66 per hour!

• Sunday only shift, 12:30-20:30 @ £13.19 p/h.

Typical working hours as a part time Warehouse Operative:

This will be on ongoing shift booked for candidates each week. There will be a chance for extra shifts during week - available shifts will be confirmed in due course.

Your role as a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
• Using a handheld scanner to sort items
• Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
• Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
• Unloading & Loading containers
• Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
• Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
• Ensuring the warehouse is always clean

What we are looking for in a successful candidate:

• Candidates must be able to work with alcohol and products containing alcohol.
• For a candidate to be suitable for placement they would have to have their own reliable transport to reach the work location as there is limited public transport/bus links by the job location
• Good level of communication
• Can adhere to and uphold strict Health and Safety standards
• PPE is required, but we can provide this
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must already have and hold a legal status to work in the UK
