Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)

Location: HM Prison Gartree

Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)

Shift pattern: 6.5 hours per week on Thursday, 11:00 to 17:30

Salary: £4,477.20 or £12.30 per hour

Important Notes

• This role is based within a prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.
• You must have a current 3-year UK address history to be eligible for security clearance.
• Access to your own transport is necessary due to the remoteness of the site.

Role Overview

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their funds. DHL manages the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. Your role is vital in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation, working within a diverse team to ensure timely and accurate order distribution.

Responsibilities

1. Distribute orders on the prison wing accurately and promptly.
2. Load and unload vehicles upon order arrival.
3. Adhere to prison rules and regulations.
