Position: Warehouse Operative (Order Distributor)

Contract Type: Permanent (Part-Time)

Location: Bicester - HM Prison Bullingdon

Salary: £12,480.00 per annum or £15 per hour

Shift Pattern: Thursday and Friday, 8 hours a day, plus rotational cover at HM Prison Huntercombe (RG9 5SB) on a Friday

Note: The role is based within a Prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

About the Role

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. At DHL, our role is to manage the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. No two days on our HMPPS contract are the same! You will play an integral role in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation, working with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Distribute orders accurately and timely to inmates on the prison wing
• Load and unload vehicles when orders arrive at the prison
• Ensure compliance with prison rules and regulations

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to work in a prison environment alongside inmates
• Ability to perform manual handling and heavy lifting
• Good communication skills at all levels
• Current 3-year UK address history (mandatory for Security Clearance)
