Job description

G R Employment Ltd is looking for part-time Parcel Sorters / Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a worldwide market leader in parcel logistics. The position is based in Great Hallingbury. This is a temporary placement, but for the right candidate, it could become permanent.

The Operations Processor role is hands-on, working within the warehouse section of the Service Centre. You will work directly with secure, customs-cleared shipments, ensuring all incoming and outgoing parcels are processed quickly and efficiently. Responsibilities include processing and loading materials and shipments into vehicles in a precise, safe, and time-efficient manner. You will also be required to scan and distribute materials within the service centre.

• Working to tight timeframes and deadlines
• Demonstrating excellent teamwork to meet SLAs

Shift Available

Tuesday to Friday: 4pm to 8pm

Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour

Shift Premiums

• Extra £2.71 per hour after 19:00 to 08:00
• Extra £1.18 per hour on Saturday
• Extra £2.20 per hour on Sunday

Job Responsibilities

• Process all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Scan/process shipments
• Ensure all actions are completed quickly and efficiently
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail
• Manual lifting of shipments is required
• Ensure the warehouse is left in a clean and tidy condition after the end of shift
• Perform any other reasonable duties as required

Job Qualifications

• Counterbalance FLT licence
• Security training will be provided when required
