Job summary

The Job People in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking a Warehouse Operative Nights. You'll work nights from 6pm for 11 or 12 hour shifts, five nights a week with weekends possible. The role offers ongoing regular work with weekly pay at £15.07 per hour, based in Newcastle-under-Lyme.

You will stack pallets, shrink wrap, perform bulk picking, use RF scanners, and assist with loading and unloading vehicles as part of a team. Immediate starts are available, and rota is issued two weeks in advance.

Qualifications

• Physically demanding warehouse role requiring stamina.
• Experience with RF scanners and pallet handling preferred.
• Ability to work nights and follow rosters.

Responsibilities

• Stacking and building pallets, bulk picking and packing.
• Shrink wrapping and loading/unloading vehicles.
• Using RF scanners and PPTs to move parcels.
• Working as part of a team to meet targets.
• Adhering to safety and quality procedures.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative Nights

• Stacking Pallets, Building pallets - taking boxes of a belt
• Shrink Wrapping
• Bulk Picking and Packing
• Using a PPT or putting parcels onto pallets
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Working as part of a team
• Using an RF Scanner

Experience of a Warehouse Operative Nights

Ideally worked in a warehouse before using a PPT, LLOP or RF Scanners

Working nights from 6pm start for a 11 or 12 hour shift - plenty of hours of work

Working any 5 nights from 7 - from Monday to Sunday - Nights only - will possibly increase to 6 shifts per week during peak and does include working weekends

£15.07 per hour - weekly pay
