Job summary

DPD Group at Stock Depot is seeking a Warehouse Operative for permanent night shifts (02:30–08:30), 30 hours per week across five days.

You will load and unload parcels, scan and sort them (up to 25 kg), operate warehouse equipment, and ensure safety and accuracy to support reliable deliveries. Full training and PPE provided.

Job Description

• Contract Type:Permanent – 30 hours per week

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
