Job summary

Yusen Logistics (UK) Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Warehouse Operative (nights) to join our brand-new Northampton warehouse near junction 15 of the M1. This full-time, permanent role runs Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:00 (40 hours per week).

You will support a variety of warehouse activities, load and unload goods, use our warehouse management system, and follow health and safety guidelines. Training will be provided, with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• An understanding of safe manual handling practices
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Good attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and adapt
• A current FLT, counterbalance, reach truck or pallet stacker licence (or a willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods using manual handling equipment
• Undertake training for any equipment or IT systems
• Use our warehouse management system to manage your workload
• Follow H&S guidelines to support a safe working environment
• Complete relevant paperwork and goods checks

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative (nights) to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis, working Sunday-Thursday 22:00-06:00 (40 hrs p/w).

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of our brand-new Northampton warehouse located near junction 15 of the M1.

Working as part of this brand-new operation, you will support a variety of warehouse activities to meet the changing needs of the business. As the operation develops, your day-to-day tasks may change, requiring a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

You will also:

About You
