Job summary

Yusen Logistics Widnes site is seeking a Warehouse General Operative to help run a busy warehouse. You will carry out general duties such as lifting, picking orders and assembling pallets, with full training and safe-work equipment provided.

The role runs Monday evening to Saturday morning, 22:00–06:30, with occasional overtime. There are extensive benefits including a pension, health plan, cycle-to-work and access to an online fitness platform.

We're looking for enthusiastic and driven Warehouse General Operatives to join us at our Widnes site.

You will play an active part in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse operation. You will carry out general operative duties such as lifting items, picking orders and assembling pallets.

This is a practical role that involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and bending throughout the shift. Full training and appropriate equipment will be provided to help you work safely and effectively.

You will work Monday evening to Saturday morning, 22:00-06:30, and may occasionally be required to work overtime to support business needs.

The Role

As a Warehouse General Operative, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations at our brand-new Widnes site.

Specifically, you will work across a variety of warehouse tasks, all while following our high standards and procedures to keep everything running like clockwork.

Alongside this, you will have the chance to train as an FLT Driver, gaining valuable skills to safely load and unload products with care and precision, helping us maintain our commitment to quality and safety.
