WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE NIGHTS
BASED: POLAR SPEED DISTRIBUTION LIMITED, SITE 2, 8 CHARTMOOR ROAD, LEIGHTON BUZZARD, BEDFORDSHIRE, LU7 4WG
HOURS: 8PM-5AM - MONDAY - FRIDAY - 40 HOURS PER WEEK
SALARY: £25,013.88 PER ANNUM - £12.03 per hour up to 40 hours, after 40 hours time and a half rate applies at £18.04 per hour.

The company specialises in active temperature-controlled deliveries to hospitals, pharmacies, wholesalers and medical care surgeries as well as to end patients which it serves through its homecare business. Its customers include some of the best known pharmaceutical brands in the world.
Due to an increase in business, we are looking for a Warehouse Operative in our Nights Operation at our busy Leighton Buzzard site2 depot. A forklift licence is desirable but not essential as full in-house training will be given on this.
You will be required to receive the inbound stock ensuring the temperature is compliant at all times, manage goods in, picking, labelling, packing and despatch paperwork. In addition to this, you will assemble clinical packaging and labelling activities to include controlling, verifying, printing, issuing and recording labels for production.
Additionally, you will ensure the maintenance of appropriate quantities of stock levels within the packaging area, undertaking stock counts and processing returns.
The positions are on a Monday to Friday basis, 40 hours per week; however, flexibility with regard to hours will be required as the shift times may alter dependent on volume.
