Job summary

UPS in Birmingham is seeking a Warehouse Operative to work night shifts in a fast-paced distribution environment. Based at Polar Speed Distribution Ltd, Nobel Way, Aston, Birmingham, the role involves loading, unloading and handling UPS packages.

You will load and unload packages, scan, sort and stock items, and may operate heavy machinery as needed to complete tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position with evenings/nights.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. This position may utilize heavy machinery to complete tasks. This position performs other tasks as assigned in a fast-paced environment.

• Loads and unloads UPS packages into trailers or package cars.
