Job summary

Select Appointments is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Attleborough for an ongoing temporary role with steady hours. The position offers £12.71 per hour, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm and weekly pay.

You will take and record samples, pick stock for production and orders, move stock around, check deliveries, and follow hygiene, quality and safety procedures in a busy health supplement warehouse.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable timekeeping and attendance.
• Positive, hardworking attitude and team player.
• Willing to follow health & safety procedures.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Taking and recording samples and product retentions in line with company procedures.
• Picking and pulling stock accurately for production and customer orders.
• Putting stock away in the correct warehouse locations and maintaining an organised storage area.
• Checking in incoming ingredients, materials and components, ensuring quantities and paperwork are correct.
• Preparing deliveries and orders for dispatch.
• De-palletising incoming goods and safely moving stock around the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading deliveries when required.
• Completing stock checks and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Following warehouse, hygiene, quality and health & safety procedures at all times.
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
