Job summary

IWS Group in Billingshurst, England, seeks a Warehouse Operative to join the site. The role focuses on preparing materials to customer specs, coordinating with the stock system, and occasional local site deliveries. Training will be provided, including external qualifications, with a 38.5-hour week.

You will work within a close-knit team at the largest trade-only storage solutions supplier in the UK, offering good trade discounts and a range from small picks to industrial racking.

Qualifications

• Good standard of general education with commitment to continuing professional development.
• FLT - Counterbalance certification is required or obtained during training.
• IPAF certification is required or achievable via the employer.
• Health & Safety Qualification - Level 2 is expected to be held or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Receive, identify, mark and place materials and record in stock system.
• Prepare materials per customer requirements and build systems/products.
• Load/unload materials safely and ensure stock changes are recorded.
• Report stock issues and coordinate with the Warehouse Team Leader on projects.
• Ensure RAMS and health and safety rules are followed; complete site deliveries as needed.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse environment and conduct routine checks.
• Assist with safety checks and review department KPI and schedule in meetings.
