Job Description
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives at our Telford dairy site. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience within a chilled environment and hold a forklift truck / counterbalance licence.
Contract: Full Time / Permanent
Salary: Starting from £31,079.00 per annum plus overtime premiums
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (days & nights), 7-7
Location: Telford
Key Responsibilities
- Follow advice and best practices provided by trainers and senior/team leaders.
- Operate with a high level of personal safety awareness to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Use all company equipment for its intended purpose in accordance with safe systems of work and standard operating procedures.
- Operate equipment and machinery only when trained, assessed, and supervised to do so.
- Ensure all materials are used within their expiry date, maintain good stock rotation, and ensure accurate consumption through positive goods issuing for 100% traceability.
- Supply materials to lines in a timely manner, ensuring they are scanned to the correct locations.
- Recognize faults promptly and take corrective actions.
- Follow a detailed training plan to progress through grades.
- Share technical knowledge with team members to enhance their capabilities.
