Qualifications

  • Experience in manual handling and lifting required.
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy expected.
  • Basic IT skills and good communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive goods into the warehouse.
  • Pick orders for despatch and perform stock replenishment.
  • Assist with operational demands in distribution and brewery as needed.

Warehouse Operative Vacancy – Full time (40 hours) – £25,500 - Monday to Friday - Middleton

We are excited to announce that we are now recruiting for aWarehouse Operativeto join the team at ourJW Leeswarehouse in Middleton. The role will be day shift-based, Monday to Friday (core hours 8.45am to 17.30pm) with occasional weekend working.

Requirements

  • Experience in manual handling and lifting.
  • Good levels of numeracy literacy
  • Basic IT skills
  • Good communication skills with a well organised approach to work
  • Flexible approach to interdepartmental deployment to suit business needs
  • To be able to work the occasional weekend where required
  • Experience of working on own initiative or in a team
  • Reach truck licence preferred (RTITB, AITT, NPORS, or ITSSAR)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Receipt of goods into the warehouse
  • Picking of orders for despatch
  • Stock replenishment
  • Loading of distribution fleet vehicles
  • Stocktaking
  • Occasional secondment to other areas such as distribution and brewery to assist with operational demands
