Job summary

IFGlobal is seeking an Inventory Operative for a 3-month fixed-term contract across Christchurch and Hurn. You will audit stock, manage movements, investigate discrepancies and support efficiency improvements while moving between two sites.

The role requires attention to stock accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with on-site parking and benefits including health cash plan, 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and a birthday day off.

Responsibilities

• Auditing stock using the BLADE WMS system.
• Collaborating with goods in to locate stock in opportunistic locations for efficiency.
• Working with dispatch to remedy bottlenecks and meet SLA.
• Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and ensuring PPE use.
• Delivering work to a high-quality standard.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned.

Job description

As an Inventory Operative (3 month fixed term contract), you’ll play a key role in keeping our stock accurate and our warehouse running smoothly. You’ll manage stock movements, investigate discrepancies and carry out regular audits, while looking for ways to improve processes and drive greater efficiency across the operation. You will be required to travel across two sites based in Christchurch and Hurn.

What you'll do

• Auditing stock using our BLADE WMS system
• Working in parallel with the goods in team to ensure stock is located in the mostopportunistic locations to improve efficiencies downstream
• Working with the dispatch team remedying bottlenecks to ensure all orders are shippedwithin SLA
• To ensure clean and tidy working environment and that staff are using all required PPE
• Ensuring work is carried out to a high-quality standard.
• Any other duties as assigned
