Job summary

GXO is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the team at the West Hallam site in Ilkeston. The role is full-time and on-site, with duties including picking, packing, scanning, pallet handling and general warehouse upkeep.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 23 kg and adhering to safety standards. Benefits include weekly pay and holiday entitlement, with a flexible pay option via Wagestream.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have legal right to work in the UK.
• Own transport or reliable access may be preferable due to limited public transport near the site.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing items for distribution.
• Using a handheld scanner to sort items.
• Boxing items on a line and in the rework area.
• Manual lifting up to 23 kg.
• Unloading and loading containers.
• Wrapping and unwrapping pallets.
• Upholding strict health and safety standards.
• Keeping the warehouse clean at all times.
