Warehouse Operative – Immediate Start, Day Shifts

Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for immediate starts in a busy distribution environment. Prior warehouse experience is preferred but full site-specific training will be provided to ensure you can work accurately and safely.

Daily duties include picking orders with handheld RF scanners, checking codes and quantities, moving stock with trolleys and pallet trucks, replenishing stock, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. Monday–Friday shifts, start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, but not essential.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods and handle items up to 15 kg.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable learning handheld scanners and warehouse systems.
• Reliable, punctual and a good team player.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate issues clearly.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders accurately using instructions and handheld RF scanners.
• Check product codes, quantities and condition.
• Move stock safely using trolleys and pallet trucks, where trained and authorised.
• Replenish stock and report shortages, discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow health and safety procedures.
• Work with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.
