Position: Warehouse Operative (Warehouse Team Leader)

Location: HM Prison Stocken (LE15 7RD)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift: Mon 07:30-17:00, Tues-Thurs 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-13:30

Salary: £25,478.31

Note: The role is based within a Prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Security Vetting Process.

Requirements: A valid UK Licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.

About the Role

HMPPS provides prisoners with the means to order goods using their own funds. DHL manages the picking, packing, and distribution of these orders. This role offers variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in supporting prisoner rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment and being actively involved in picking and packing tasks.
2. Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse (located onsite at the prison).
3. Managing the delivery and dispatch of accurate and timely orders to inmates.
4. Meeting and exceeding operational targets.

Candidate Requirements

1. Ability to work effectively in a prison warehouse environment.
2. Understanding of warehouse processes (desirable).
3. Strong communication skills across all levels.
4. Current UK address history for at least 3 years (mandatory for Enhanced Security Clearance).
5. Full UK Driving Licence.
