Job summary

The Best Connection in Dumfries is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for a two-week assignment with a possibility of extension. The role requires accurate handling of orders, deliveries, stock checks, and loading/unloading tasks, using Excel and other Office tools.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or depot experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Good IT skills, especially Excel.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing orders.
• Accepting, recording, and processing deliveries and dispatches.
• Carrying out quality checks and stock control duties.
• Loading and unloading vehicles.
• Completing warehouse and depot-related tasks as required.
• Using Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
