Job Description:

• Position: Warehouse Operative
• Salary: £12.10 per hour
• Location: Hove
• Hours: 8.30am to 5pm with 30 minute lunch, Monday to Friday

A growing Biotechnology company in Hove with an exceptionally friendly and welcoming workforce is looking for a Materials Handler, Stores Operative or Warehouse Operative to join them immediately in this temporary role, which will ideally turn into a permanent position for the right applicant.

Working in the Stores area handling materials within the small warehouse you’ll be a crucial team member who can expect future progression opportunities within the supply chain function as the company grows.

Job duties:

• Manage goods in, storing materials in correct locations
• Conduct inventory and stock checks
• Prepare materials and relevant labels and packaging
• Palletising materials for goods out
• Operating equipment such as pallet trucks

Skills & experience required:

• Full training is available to the right applicant but any experience in Stores, Materials or Warehouse work or in a similar regulated environment would be a benefit
• Candidates interested in future progression in supply chain or generally interested working with Biotechnology that can add value to humanity are encouraged to apply
