Job summary

Personnel Solutions (Midlands) Limited is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives in the Appleby Magna area of Swadlincote. You will be integral to warehousing, handling materials, stocking, and loading/unloading goods under the direction of the Warehouse Manager.

The role requires forklift operation, familiarity with warehouse management systems, lifting and manual handling, and efficient order picking. Ongoing work with the potential for a permanent contract, with a Monday–Friday 06:00–14:30 shift

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse operations and materials handling.
• Forklift operation experience and knowledge of warehouse systems.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to lift.
• Experience with stocking, picking & packing, shipping & receiving.
• Familiarity with AS400 and other warehouse technologies.
• Ability to load and unload goods efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Handle materials and stock within the warehouse.
• Load and unload goods from lorries and scan items on intake.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing and shipping/receiving processes.
• Maintain safe operating procedures and use PPE as required.
