A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver for a client in Ballymena. The successful candidate will prepare orders for delivery, operate a forklift, and maintain warehouse areas. This temporary position offers a pay rate of £12.59 per hour with a shift rotation covering Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance forklift truck experience & current licence required.
• Good basic education (GCSE / equivalent in Maths and English, grade C or above).
• Manual handling experience & training is essential.

Job Description:

Our client based in Ballymena is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver to join their team! This position will see you working within the warehouse preparing orders for delivery as per customer specifications

Position: Warehouse Operative/ Forklift Driver

Location: Ballymena

Duration: Temporary to Permanent

Pay Rate: £12.59 per hour

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday with a 3-week shift rotation

6am- 3pm, 8am to 5pm, 10am to 7pm

Duties will include (but not be limited to):

* Maintain warehouse and yard areas in tidy condition - assisting maintenance staff as required.
* Serving customers - loading pallets and totes
* Operating a semi-automated bagging line and filling tote bags
* Loading & unloading curtain sided deliveries by forklift
* Loading bulk vehicles
* Cleaning bulk vehicles and trailers

* Manual handling experience & training
* Counterbalance forklift truck experience & current licence.
* Good basic education (GCSE / equivalent in Maths and English, grade C or above)
* Good communication, team working skills & attention to detail.
* Basic computer literacy, experience using computer terminal controlled equipment is desirable.
