Job summary

The Bread Factory is seeking a Warehouse Operative at Unit 11-13, Blakelands, Milton Keynes, MK14 5BU. You will load and unload deliveries, receive goods, store stock, and perform daily equipment checks as part of a busy distribution operation.

The role runs 40 hours per week, 6am-2pm, any 5 days out of 7, with an hourly rate of £14.30 and staff discounts on bakery products. A valid forklift licence and full UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift and reach truck licences required.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to work 40 hours per week, 6am-2pm.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles.
• Receive goods and complete relevant paperwork.
• Store stock correctly and maintain stock levels.
• Support stock checks and ensure stock accuracy.
• Handle products to prevent damage.
• Carry out basic quality checks and report issues.
• Work across warehouse, chiller, freezer and yard areas.
• Keep all areas clean and organized.
• Perform daily equipment checks and follow health and safety procedures.
