Job summary

Manpower is hiring a Warehouse Operative - FLT Reach in Bedford. You will operate an FLT Reach to pick items onto pallets, repack for dispatch, label correctly, and work with the Warehouse and Office teams to maintain accuracy and safety on the floor.

You will report to your Line Manager and help the team meet daily site objectives. Shifts are Monday to Friday 10:00am–6:00pm, with weekly pay and a temp-to-perm progression path.

Qualifications

• FLT Reach Licence is required.
• Experience in packing or warehouse roles is desirable.
• Strong numeracy and literacy skills are needed.
• Commitment to health and safety standards.

Warehouse Operative - FLT Reach

Location: Bedford, MK41 0FS

Pay rate: £14.32 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

Shifts: Monday to Friday 10:00am - 18:00pm (Flexibility to cover early and late shift during holiday periods)

We are looking for FLT Reach Drivers to work on behalf of our client in Rugby. As a FLT Driver, you will play a vital role in using prebuilt systems to pick items onto pallets for customers. Ensuring accuracy and time management, while maintaining high standards of quality and service. Working as part of a team of warehouse operatives and reporting to your Line Manager, you will collaborate closely with the Warehouse and Office teams to ensure the smooth running of the operation and the achievement of overall site objectives.

What you'll be doing:

• Repacking products accurately and efficiently according to company standards
• Ensuring all items are correctly labelled and packaged for dispatch
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
• Supporting team members to meet daily production targets

What you'll bring:

• FLT Reach Licence is essential (Counterbalance is advantageous but not required)
• A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and a proactive approach
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Experience in a similar packing or warehouse role (desirable but not essential)
• Good numeracy and literacy skills
• A commitment to health and safety standards
