Job summary

Straight-Line Group Services Ltd is recruiting a reliable Warehouse Operative with a valid FLT licence to join a busy warehouse team in Winfrith. The role offers day shifts and a starting salary of £27,000 rising to £30,000 after probation.

You will load and unload with Counterbalance or Reach FLTs, pick and pack, carry out stock checks, maintain accurate records and help keep health and safety standards high; there are opportunities for progression and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence is required.
• Previous warehouse experience is required.
• Able to operate FLT in a fast-paced environment.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and flexible to overtime.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading vehicles using a Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Truck.
• Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse.
• Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Booking goods in and carrying out stock checks.
• Maintaining accurate warehouse records.
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and tidy.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
