SIG Insulation & Drylining is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our branch team. You will handle receiving, storage, picking and loading of stock, ensuring accuracy and safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key duties include unloading deliveries, maintaining stock records, operating forklifts, and supporting stocktakes. We value accuracy, a can-do attitude, good communication, and a customer-oriented mindset to help us deliver excellent service.

Qualificações

• A valid Forklift Licence is required.
• Good data accuracy, numeracy and basic IT skills.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or yard role is advantageous.
• Flexible and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communication and ability to work well in a team.
• Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting with deliveries in unloading and loading of vehicles at the branch.
• Receive and store goods accurately in the correct locations within the warehouse/yard.
• Prepare customer orders according to sales requirements and load them onto vehicles.
• Sign for deliveries, report stock breakages, and maintain accurate stock records.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
• Carry out daily checks and maintain forklifts and other mechanical handling equipment in a safe working condition.
• Promote a “Everyone Safe, Every Day,” culture by ensuring the safety of yourself and colleagues.
• Be flexible and assist with stocktaking and overtime as required.

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Warehouse Operative to join our team, helping us maintain our high standards of service, accuracy, and safety.

What's the role?

As a Warehouse Operative you will be a key part of the day-to-day operations of the branch. Your role will focus on ensuring the receiving, storage, picking, and loading of stock is completed efficiently and accurately, contributing to the smooth running of the branch.
