Job summary

Macphie UK is seeking a Store Person for our Distribution Team in Glenbervie, Aberdeenshire. The role involves unloading deliveries, stock management, picking orders and loading vehicles in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Distribution Team Manager and work a weekly rotating shift pattern: Early 06:00-14:00 and Back 14:00-22:00, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy warehouse, stores, logistics or distribution environment.
• FLT experience or certification is essential.
• Experience in FMCG/manufacturing is helpful but not required.
• Proficient with warehouse management systems or similar computer-based systems.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to help where needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety in warehouse environments.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Picking, assembling and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading vehicles safely in line with procedures.
• Receiving, checking, labelling and storing incoming goods.
• Moving and scanning stock using warehouse systems.
• Operating warehouse equipment and performing daily checks.
• Supporting stock counting and inventory control.
• Maintaining a clean, organised warehouse.
• Following all procedures and quality standards.
• Working safely at all times per Health & Safety policies.
• Supporting the Distribution Team with additional tasks.
