Stead House Distribution Centre

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm.
Total Hours Per Week: 40

Introduction
An exciting opportunity to be part of our successful Superdrug Supply Chain; working within one of our busy Distribution centres as a Warehouse Operative.
This vacancy is for the Savers DC known as Stead House Distribution Centre, based in Darlington. The hours will be predominantly as stated above, but flexibility across all shift patterns may be required.

Role Purpose: The Reach Forklift Operative is responsible for operating a forklift truck to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also perform other warehouse roles. You will need to be customer-focused, maintaining optimal stock levels in storage and pick slots, working to set KPI standards. The role reports to the Operations Team Leader for Stead House Distribution Centre.

A typical day includes:
- Storing stock from Goods In
- Replenishing stock via stock allocation system
- Taking waste to the baler
- Assisting with stock taking
- Working with KPI standards
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
- Being aware of hazards
- Using harness training to work at height for stock takes and assisting drivers with pallets
