Warehouse Technician - Temp to Perm

Must be forklift trained and have previous warehouse experience.

Location: Andover Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Salary: GBP28,793 per annum Hours: 07:30 - 16:00 Days: Monday to Friday

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Technician to join a dynamic and supportive team in Andover. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term career potential in a well-established business. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, from goods-in to goods-out, supporting both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and check deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Operate forklift trucks (counterbalance & reach) safely and efficiently
  • Manage stock locations and record movements using a computerised system
  • Pick and pack orders to meet customer specifications and legal requirements
  • Handle raw materials and finished goods in line with hygiene and safety standards
  • Complete dispatch documentation (invoices, packing lists, DG notes, etc.)
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and internal departments
What We're Looking For
  • Must be forklift trained (counterbalance & reach licence required)
  • Previous warehouse experience (ideally in food or pharmaceutical sectors)
  • Basic food hygiene knowledge
  • Familiarity with stock management systems
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Awareness of ADR, IATA, and COMAH regulations is a plus (training can be provided)
