Job summary

Pertemps Crawley is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative in East Grinstead, West Sussex. This is a full-time/temporary/permanent hands-on role where you will help ensure goods are received, stored, picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and safely.

You'll be joining a busy warehouse team, performing duties from picking and packing orders to loading, unloading deliveries, stock checks, and ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Comfortable with standing, walking and manual handling.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately to target.
• Load and unload deliveries.
• Check goods against delivery notes and report discrepancies.
• Move and store stock in correct warehouse locations.
• Scan products with handheld devices.
• Carry out stock checks and support stock control.
• Prepare orders for dispatch.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
