Job summary

GSF Car Parts is looking for Warehouse Operatives to join our UK distribution network. You will ensure orders are picked and packed and ready for delivery, supporting customer service through efficient stock coordination and meeting delivery timeframes.

You'll work around 41 hours per week (Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays) in a fast-paced warehouse, focusing on accuracy, teamwork and attention to detail. Prior experience in warehousing and knowledge of car parts is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A great track record working in a fast paced warehouse, or similar environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• A good team player.
• Work efficiently with good attention to detail.
• Understand the necessity of customer service & working to deadlines.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of car parts and the automotive industry would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Checking and putting away supplier delivered parts.
• Picking and loading vans accurately and in a timely manner;
• Checking customer returns for resale, warranty or surcharge.
• Checking stock quantities are correct against computer whilst also checking stock is stored in the allocated bin locations.
